400 mm ball bearing drawer runners - Per Set

Because these drawer runners feature a ball cage with small balls. These balls provide increased precision and speed during drawer extension and retraction, leading to a virtually silent closure.

This set of drawer runners are suitable for drawers 400 mm deep and have a pull-out length of 407 mm. The load capacity is approximately 40 kg.

Drawer runners 400 mm 

A set of ball bearing drawer runners consists of two drawer runners and two drawer rails 400 mm long and 45.5 mm high. These drawer runners and rails are supplied without fasteners. We therefore recommend ordering our Galvanised chipboard screws 3 x 16 mm.

By using these screws, you do not need to pre-drill either. This is because these chipboard screws are provided with a useful Cutting point, making them easy to screw into the wood. All you need is a torx screwdriver with TX10 drive or a drill with a TX10 bit.

Is your drawer or cabinet made of hardwood? Then we recommend pre-drilling. This will prevent the wood from splitting. Use our hardwood drill bits 2 mm.

Mounting ball bearing drawer runners

Step 1: Pull out the runners completely.
Step 2: At the back of the inner rail, you will now see a Black lever. Push this upwards to remove the rail from the guides.
Step 3: Now install the drawer runners at the desired height on the inside of the cupboard.
Step 4: Install the loose rail to your drawer, at the height of the drawer runners on your cupboard.
Step 5: Now slide the drawer with the drawer rails back into the drawer runners.

Please make sure that the drawer and drawer runners are always mounted straight. We therefore recommend using a spirit level for this. In addition, it is important that the space between the drawer and the frame is at least 0.2 mm to 0.5 mm wider than the thickness of the guide.
