Fixing the double action door spring hinge

To screw on the Hinges you will need the following: a pencil, a 3 mm hardwood drill bit and a drill with a matching bit.

These hinges are double-action, for mounting this means that you do not need to take into account the door's rotation direction. The Hinges can be fitted on both the left and right side of the doors.

Step 1: Determine the location of the top hinge
Step 2: Use the pencil to mark the screw holes
Step 3: Lightly pre-drill the screw holes, about 30 mm deep
Step 4: Installing the top hinge to the door
Step 5: Repeat steps 1 to 4 for the lower Hinge
Step 6: Now install the Hinges and door to the door frame
Step 7: Use the locking pins and adjusting pin to adjust how heavily your door opens and closes

Clusting tip: Keep in mind the door thickness. This is because the door should not be wider than the centre piece of the swing door hinge.
