These galvanised chipboard screws are equipped with a pozidrive, a star-shaped drive that provides extra grip for a screwdriver or power drill. On top of that, the screws have been coated with a special wax that reduces the amount of power the drill needs to fasten a screw. The result is that you can fasten more screws with a fully charged battery.

Chipboard screws are great for fixing metal or plastic to wood. These screws can also be used for wood-to-wood connections. However, this will result in a slight gap between the two pieces of wood. If you want to prevent this from happening, you will have to pre-drill the holes. You could also use partially threaded screws instead of these screws with full thread.
