Usage and thickness of plastic sheeting

It is important not to use any pins or sharp objects to fasten the plastic sheeting. When you push the pin through the plastic sheeting, you increase the chance of tearing the whole sheet. Always use tape, (semi)heavy objects, or clamps to secure the plastic sheeting. This T100 plastic sheeting is 35 μm (0.035 mm) thick. This is quite thin, so we recommend only using the cover indoors to prevent it from being torn apart by wind.

The T100 plastic sheeting is also less suitable for covering objects with sharp tips or edges. These can create holes or tears in the cover. If you require plastic sheeting for an outdoor project or to cover sharp objects, we recommend ordering T200 plastic sheeting, which is almost 2 times as strong.
