How to replace a half cylinder lock

Replacing a cylinder lock is very simple. If you open the door and look on the face side of the door, you will see a screw with phillips head impression here that secures the cylinder in the mortise lock. Loosen this screw and the cylinder will be loose in the lock. Next, insert the key in the cylinder and turn it around a very small Piece. Now the cylinder will come loose by gently pulling it.
