Cylinder lock SKG** 30 - 60 mm - Per Piece

Nothing is as important as your security, at Wovar we attach great importance to high-quality security hardware. A properly lockable exterior door is of course accompanied by a high-quality security cylinder, which you will find in almost all sizes from our own stock. Our cylinder locks are provided with an SKG** CE Certificate so that drilling is no longer possible, so you can equip your door with a high-quality security cylinder. Such extremely long cylinders are a perfect solution when, for example, your front door is clad with cladding. Something increasingly common in Modern architecture. Apart from façade cladding, we also often see long cylinders on (insulated) Plastic and steel shed doors.

This 30 - 60 mm euro cylinder has a total length of 90 mm. These profile cylinders have a hole for the supplied cylinder screw, this hole is under the carrier where there is 30 mm space on one side and no less than 60 mm length on the other side. For security reasons, it does not matter which side is facing outwards, as both sides are fitted with the drill protection.

We supply 3 keys and a required cylinder screw with this profile cylinder.

    Cylinder lock door replacement

Replacing a cylinder lock is very easy, if you follow the steps below:

    .

Step 1:Open the door. On the front side of the door, at the level of the old cylinder lock, you will see a cross-headed screw.
Last chance! Step 2:Turn this cylinder screw loose with a screwdriver and remove it from the mortise lock.
Step 3:Insert the key into the cylinder lock and turn it a little Piece. By pulling lightly, you will notice that the lock is loosened after which you can remove the cylinder lock completely from the door.
Step 4: Insert the key in the new cylinder lock and turn the key slightly so that the Black "carrier" disappears into the cylinder lock.
Step 5: Push the new cylinder lock into the mortise lock of your door and turn the key so that the lock is activated.
Step 6: Using a screwdriver, turn the new cylinder screw provided into the hole provided so that the cylinder lock is anchored in the door.

Our advice is never to loosen and tighten the screws with the drill, but with a screwdriver. Please note that each cylinder lock comes with its own unique keys. These are therefore not equal-locking locks.
