Cylinder lock SKG** 35 - 40 mm - Per Piece

Cylinder locks are the beating heart of your door security. Such profile cylinders are used to operate your mortise locks to properly lock your door. Yet these cylinder locks can also be a weak point of your door, you naturally want these to be of good Quality. This cylinder has an SKG** CE Certificate which makes drilling out impossible, so you can provide your door with a high-quality security cylinder.

Cylinder lock replacement for your door

This 35 - 40 mm euro cylinder has a total length of 75 mm. These profile cylinders have a hole for the cylinder screw provided, this hole is under the carrier. From here the distance to the end of the cylinder is 35 mm on one side and 40 mm on the other side.

Replacing a cylinder lock is very easy. If you open the door and look on the face side of the door, you will see a screw with a phillips head impression here that secures the cylinder in the mortise lock. Loosen this screw and the cylinder will be loose in the lock. Next, insert the key in the cylinder and turn it around a very small Piece. Now the cylinder will come loose by gently pulling on it.

Now that the old cylinder lock has been removed, you can insert the new cylinder s. To do this, insert the key into the cylinder and turn it a little Piece to make the Black "carrier" disappear into the cylinder. You then insert the cylinder lock into the lock of the door. When you can turn the door to lock, it is far enough and use the fixing screw to anchor the cylinder back into the lock. Our advice is never to turn the screws with a drill, but with a screwdriver loosen and tighten them. The cylinder locks can be ordered per piece. Please note; these locks are not equal-locking.
