This 45 - 45 mm euro cylinder is extra long and thus has a total length of 90 mm, making it suitable for doors over 70 mm thick. These profile cylinders have a hole for the supplied cylinder screw, this hole is the zero point and is located under the carrier. From this zero point the distance to the end of the cylinder is 45 mm on both sides. When you open the door and look on the face side of the door, you will see a screw with a phillips head impression here that secures the cylinder in the mortise lock. You loosen this screw, leaving the cylinder loose in the lock. Next, insert the key in the cylinder and turn it around a very small Piece. Now the cylinder will come loose by gently pulling it. Do you still feel resistance? Then turn the key a little in the other direction.

Now that the old cylinder lock has been removed, you can insert your new security cylinder s. To do this, you also need to insert the key into the cylinder lock and turn it a little Piece to make the Black "carrier" disappear into the cylinder body. Then insert the cylinder lock into the lock hole of the door. When you can lock the door, it is far enough in and you insert the supplied fixing screw through the designated hole to secure the profile cylinder in the mortise lock. Our advice is never to loosen and tighten the cylinder screws with the drill, but with a screwdriver instead. This prevents unnecessary damage to the cylinder screw.
