We recommend using our plastic sheeting T100 and T200 to keep the construction site tidy. The T100 sheets are incredibly thin and are specifically designed for indoor use. T200 sheeting is thicker and stronger, and is also suitable for outdoor use.

UV-resistant house wraps

This house wrap is a vapour permeable membrane suitable for use behind open facade cladding. The membranes are available on rolls with a width of 1.5 m and a length of 25 or 50 m. We offer both a regular and a self-adhesive version of our house wraps. Our UV-resistant house wraps are KOMO certified, proof of the exceptional quality of the membranes.

The membranes are water repellant and vapour permeable. This means that the house wrap will protect everything behind it against water and moisture from outside, while also allowing condensation on the inside to escape.

For the best result, we recommend adding our tape and foil tape for roof and facade membranes. The regular tape ensures a trustworthy, airtight seal, and the foil tape is applied to the framework behind the membrane to protect the house wrap from the acids and chemicals in the wood.

Breather membranes

Looking for breather membranes for a closed roof or facade? Wovar's breather membranes are available on a roll of 1.5 x 25 m and 1.5 x 50 m. We offer two kinds of membranes: regular and self-adhesive.

The self-adhesive membranes are equipped with two adhesion strips. If you opt for these membranes, remember to also add the corresponding adhesive to your order. When you choose to attach the breather membrane with nails or staples, we recommend using nails or staples made of stainless steel and with a minimum length of 25 mm. Stainless steel prevents rust formation when exposed to water or air.

Especially when using nails or staples, we recommend adding our tape and foil tape for roof and facade membranes. The tape ensures an airtight seal, and the foil tape can protect the membrane from the acids and chemicals in the wood.

Plastic sheeting

Wovar offers plastic sheeting in various shapes and sizes. One of the main advantages of our plastic sheeting is that in addition to being 100% recyclable, it is also made of recycled materials. You get the best of both worlds, a product that is both high-quality and sustainable. Our plastic sheeting is made of LDPE, which stands for low density polyethylene. This is a strong, waterproof material with high tear-resistance, perfect for use on construction sites. As an added advantage, the plastic sheeting is transparent and easy to store. You will find two types of plastic sheeting: T100 and T200. The T100 is thin and specifically designed for indoor use. The T200 is thicker and stronger, and is also suitable for outdoor use.
