Deck Air Spacer Pads for Decks and Terraces

The deck-ventilation air spacer pads are 100 x 40 x 8 mm (l x w x h) and are supplied per bag of 100 pieces. This is sufficient for laying a decking of approximately 6m2. In addition, you will receive movable spacers with this deck ventilation. This allows you to place your decking boards with a parallel spacing of 4, 5, 6, or 7 mm.

Furthermore, the ventilation Air Spacer pads are made of recycled composite and have a temperature resistance of -40 to 110 °C. As a result, they will last a long time and you can enjoy your deck for an extra-long time!

To place these deck-ventilation air spacer pads, we recommend using our deck screws stainless steel 5 x 40 mm, a deck liner to place your screws in a straight line, and a 4 mm countersink drill bit, for a neat finish.

Placing Deck Air Spacer Pads

When you use deck air spacer pads, you will no longer need decking clips. These ventilation pads have a similar effect. Below is a step-by-step plan for installing the decking ventilation pads. Use image 3.

Step 1: Place the air spacer pads on the beam.
Step 2: Place the deck board on the air spacer pads.
Step 3: Mark and pre-drill the screw holes. The mounting holes should fall between the air spacer pads. This is approximately 15 mm on both sides of the board.
Step 4: Screw the deck board in place with your deck screws.
Step 5: Place the next set of air spacer pads on the joists. Use the deck board spacers to create a parallel distance between the deck boards.
Step 6: Predrill the mounting holes again and screw in your decking board.

Repeat the above steps until you are done.
