To tackle this problem, Wovar created the Deck Liner! With the decking liner, you can quickly measure mounting holes in your decking boards. And all exactly in the middle of each deck board, in a perfectly straight line.

Attaching Deck Boards

The deck liner is very easy to use. After you lay down the first board, you can place the decking liner on it. Make sure that the block on the side touches the side of the deck board. For this model, you will be able to pre-drill perfect mounting holes on decking boards with a width of 14.5 cm. Two holes have been made in the deck liner for this. You can use these with our hardwood drills and deck screws.

At the second board, turn the deck liner over, after which you place the side against the side of the deck board again. Now make sure the large slot is flush with the screws in the first deck board. When these are in line, you can pre-drill the holes in the second deck board. You will see that the holes are perfectly aligned on all your deck boards. Do not forget to combine this attachment with our spacers. Here you will find our own spacer for 5. 7, 8, and 10 mm spacing.
