Roll drawer runners 450 mm white

These steel drawer runners with Nylon roll are 450 mm long, 1.2 mm thick and are finished with a creamy-white finish. The pull-out length of these drawer slides is 355 mm and have a maximum load capacity of 25 kg. In addition, see image 2 for other dimensions.

This set consists of two drawer runners, two drawer rails and is excluding assembly materials. We therefore recommend using our chipboard screws Galvanised 4.2 x 16 mm for assembly and ordering these at the same time. 

When using chipboard screws, in most cases it is not necessary to pre-drill the screw holes. This is because they have a razor-sharp Cutting point that ensures the wood will not split. Are you installing the drawer runners on Hardwood? Then we still recommend pre-drilling the holes. Use our 3 mm hardwood drill bits for the best results.

Installing drawer runners with nylon rollers

For the installation of these drawer runners, it is important to take the following two things into account: the required installation space and the surface area of the drawer and the frame.

The installation space is the space required between the frame and the drawer. In this case, this is 12.5 mm on both sides of the drawer. See Figure 3 for more information. 

In addition, make sure that the Surface area you install the drawer runners on is Straight. We therefore recommend using a spirit level when mounting them. This ensures that your drawers are mounted straight. Do you need another spirit level? Then you can find it in our category measuring tools.

Further, mounting the drawer runners is quite simple. See Figure 3 and the assembly instructions below for more explanation.

Step 1: Install the drawer runners (with the wheel at the back) against the bottom and sides of the drawer.
Step 2: Then, attach the drawer runners (with the wheel at the front) parallel to the inside of the cabinet.
