Why choose Ecolat Garden Edging 14 cm - Roll 20 meter?

  • Flexible garden edging
  • Large lifespan
  • No more problems with rot

Ecolat Garden Edging 14 cm - Roll 20 meter

Divide your garden in sections or create a border for your flowerbed with this flexible Ecolat garden edging. The garden edging is 14 cm high, 7 mm thick, and 20 m long. It is sturdy, yet flexible, which means Ecolat edging is suitable for borders that curved or circular. For completely straight borders, we recommend using our straight Ecolat garden edging. The garden edging is installed using ground anchor pegs, which are not included. Both the edging and the pegs have a natural, grey look, which matches well with the natural surroundings.

    What is Ecolat?

Ecolat garden edging is eco-friendly, sustainable garden edging. They are made of 100% recycled plastic waste, and can be recycled again after use. A list of the advantages of Ecolat:

    • Ecological; 100% recycled plastic
    • Flexible garden edging
    • No more problems with rot
    • Large lifespan
    • Easy to use

    Installing Ecolat garden edging

In the guide below, we explain how to place Ecolat garden edging.

    1. Unroll the garden edging. Use only the inside of the edging.
    2. Dig a trench for the garden edging. Determine where you want the border to be and dig a trench using a spade or garden trowel. The depth of the trench depends on how far into the ground you want the garden edging. We recommend burying at least 2/3 of the garden edging for the most sturdy result.
    3. Cut the garden edging to size. Simply use a handsaw to cut the border to size.
    4. Place the garden edging in the trench. Press it into the ground; you could use a rubber hammer for this. Check to see whether the border is straight with a spirit level.
    5. Place the ground anchor pegs. Set out the pegs next to the garden edging at a distance of 50 cm from each other. We recommend positioning the pegs slightly lower than the top of the border, so they are out of sight.
    6. Fasten the garden edging. When both the garden edging and the pegs are in the correct place, you can start with fastening the garden edging. Fix the border to the pegs using stainless steel garden screws 4 x 40 mm.
    7. Fill the trench. Use the soil you excavated or fill it back up with sand or gravel. Your garden edging is now ready for use.
