How do I Mount a Felt Cover Roll?

After you have applied the felt cover roll, it is easy to cut to size, so that it can be neatly concealed. You can easily make the floor-protection roll to size, using a knife or scissors. Wovar has various tools for this job in its range of hand tools. After the mat has been laid, you no longer have to level it yourself. This is due to the soft composition of the mat, which makes it self-leveling. A pointy load is not a problem, as the mat can bear heavy weights in any particular place without adverse effects. When installing the felt cover roll, make sure that there is no water or other liquids on the floor surface. 

If you want to cover a large room with a top layer or subfloor, start by rolling out the roll along the edges. After a protective layer is everywhere on the outside, you can proceed with applying the felt cover roll to the rest of the floor. During mounting, make sure that the felt cover strips have an overlap of approximately 5 centimeters. Then fix this overlap using glue or tape. We prefer wide tape or duct tape. The felt cover roll can then be reused, which is not possible when you glue it on.
