These ring nails have a black nail head. This ensures that the nails are less visible after mounting and therefore provide a nice finish. These nails from Wovar are 2.9 x 35 mm and, as the name suggests, fitted with washers instead of threads. The rings ensure that the nail can hardly be removed after mounting. Placing Facade Cladding

The ring nails are easy to hammer into the wood with a recoil-free hammer. We strongly recommend the use of a non-recoil hammer with nylon caps, as this will not damage the stainless steel. 1. It is important that the ring nail is 2.5 x longer than the thickness of the plank. For example, is the shelf 12 mm thick? Then use ring nails of at least 30 mm long.
2. Also pay close attention to the width of the plank. It is usual to fix wood widths up to 90 mm with 1 nail in the middle. If the plank is wider than 90 mm, mount the plank with 2 nails one above the other. 
3. Always take the warping of the wood into account. Wood can expand and contract due to temperature differences. Therefore, never mount too tightly and thus prevent possible splitting of the wood.
