Flat Head Ring Nails for Façade Cladding Stainless Steel A4 2.9 x 65 mm - Box of 500 Grams

Mounting facade cladding is easy with Wovar's flat head ring nails. These nails from Wovar are provided with rings so that it gets stuck in the wood, and you are provided with a reliable installation. The stainless steel material prevents rust, so there are no unsightly spots on your upholstery. The nails are 2.9 mm thick, 65 mm long, and are supplied per 500 grams.

    Fastening Flat Head Nails

It is important to use a non-recoil hammer with nylon caps to attach the flat head nails. This way, you prevent damage to the stainless steel. You will find a recoil-free hammer among the related products and in our range of hand tools, where you can also find many more useful tools

The ringed shank of this nail has an important advantage over screw threads. A ringed shank is not easy to get loose after being attached. This way you are provided with a very reliable attachment of your facade cladding. Before you get started, we would like to give you 3 tips:

    1. The ring nail you use should be 2.5 times as long as the thickness of the wood you are using. For example, is the shelf 20 mm thick? Then use 2.5 x 20 = ring nails of at least 50 mm long.
    2. It is usual to fix wood widths up to 90 mm with 1 nail in the middle. If the plank is wider than 90 mm, mount the plank with 2 nails one above the other.
    3. Due to changes in temperature and moisture content, wood expands, after which it shrinks again. This 'warping of the wood' can cause the wood to split if it is mounted too tightly. So do not install your facade cladding too tightly and allow for some slack. This way you prevent damage.
