Galvanised Post Extension Bracket for Beams of 5.9 x 15.6 cm - Per Piece

You can extend beams by attaching beams to each other. You can easily do this with the Wovar post extension brackets made of Sendzimir Galvanised steel. This means that it is provided with a zinc layer, which also protects against rust. An extension bracket is, as it were, an intermediate piece in which two beams are attached so that you are assured of a reliable connection between 2 beams. After placing the 5.9 x 15.6 cm beams in the bracket, you can fix them via the 12 mounting holes. Assembly is therefore very easy with screw nails.

Installing Post Extension Brackets

This extension bracket is suitable for beams with a size of 5.9 x 15.6 cm. These will fall right into the connector. Place your beam on a firm and level surface and leave the part to be mounted protruding. Place the bracket around the beam with the opening side up. The intention is that both beams eventually meet in the middle of the bracket. First, mount the extender on 1 beam. Once it is properly secured with at least 4 nails, you can place the second beam in the bracket. Make sure the beams are snug against each other. Now you can nail the rest of the mounting holes and mount the beams securely.
