Installing a gate stop

Installing a gate stop is relatively easy. You will need the following items to install a gate stop:

• 1 SDS-plus hammer drill bit 12 x 160 mm
• 2 coach screws M8 x 50 mm
• 2 washers M8
• 2 nylon wall plugs 12 x 60 mm
• 1 spanner 13 mm

The first step is determining the position of the gate stop. Next, mark the mounting holes and drill the holes for the wall plugs to a depth of approximately 65 mm. Make sure they are straight by using a spirit level. Insert the wall plugs in the holes, and attach the gate stop with the coach screws and washers. Tighten them with the spanner and there you go, you just installed a gate stop.
