Building a deck

1. First, embed the ground screws in the ground, using the installation tool. You can buy the corresponding installation tool, but it is also possible to use a similar object to drive the ground screws into the ground. Mark the mounting holes of the deck tops on the beam, according to the position of the ground screws, so you know where on the beam to fasten the top pieces.
2. Fix the deck tops to the wooden beam by hammering the spikes in the wood. Next, secure the top piece with two screws.
3. Position the wooden beam with the attached top pieces on top of the ground screws. If everything went well in steps 1 and 2, they should align perfectly. 
4. Connect the top pieces to the ground screws with the supplied bolts.

We recommend using beams with a maximum width of 70 to 80 mm with the deck top. The top piece has a width of 60 mm. To embed both spikes in the wooden beam, the beam will have to be wider than 60 mm.
