Ground Screw Post Holder 100 x 100 mm - Per piece

Planning on using wooden posts to build, for instance, a pergola? With the post holder for ground screws, you create a solid foundation for your pergola. Combine the post holder with an adaptor to connect it to a ground screw 63.5 mm. The M16 threaded rod is 20 cm long and ensures a strong anchorage of the wooden posts. Added to that, you use the 4 mounting holes with a diameter of 8 mm to add stability. The square measures 100 x 100 mm and is 5 mm thick.

Installing the post holder

To attach the post holder to the wooden post, you will first have to drill a hole in the end of the post. To insert the threaded rod M16 in the post, you will have to drill the hole with a 14 mm spade drill bit. When this is done, insert the post holder, mark the mounting holes, and remove the post holder again. The mounting holes have a diameter of 11 mm. You can now pre-drill these holes and fasten the post holder with wafer head screws or coach screws. Connect the post holder to the ground screw with adaptor. Secure it with the supplied nut and remember to use the washer. When you joint the post holder to the ground screw with adaptor, the latter should already be embedded in the ground.
