Hexagon Diamond Drill with Ø 10 mm - Per Piece

Wovar's diamond drills are a commonly used product for sanitary tiles. The Wovar tile drill is intended for making holes in hard and soft rocks. For example, you use the tile drill to make holes, after which you can attach your bathroom accessories. Diamond drill bits provide a clean finish for your tiles. The tile drills are provided with a thick wax layer to keep the drill head at a good operating temperature. The tile drill is therefore made for dry drilling, where you do not have to use liquids for cooling. The diamond drill is used by an electric battery drill or screw machine, equipped with a hexagonal drive. With your drill and this diamond drill, you can make holes with a diameter of 10 millimeters.

How do the 10 mm Tile Drill Bits Work?

The Wovar diamond drills are equipped with a wax layer to keep the drill head at an acceptable temperature. This prevents overheating, meaning your drill bit will have a longer life. Cooling the drill will prevent it from warping or breaking, which can happen with an uncooled drill. An additional advantage of passive cooling without liquids is that your tiles do not get wet. After drilling the hole, you can immediately get started with sealants. The tile drill is equipped with vacuum-soldered diamonds, which makes the drill head very strong. Drilling in rocks is therefore very easy.

The right drill is half the battle to keep your tiles beautiful. It is also important to use the drill correctly. Since you will likely be working with tiles, it is important to keep this in mind. Plumbing tiles often have a smooth finish on the outside, which can cause the drill bit to slip before settling into the tile. To prevent this, carefully grind an impression in the tile with the edge of the drill. After you have the impression, you can place the drill perpendicular to the tile and let it drill through the tile.
