Hexagon Diamond Drill with Ø 12 mm - Per Piece

Wovar diamond drills are extremely popular in tiling. This tile drill is very useful for drilling holes in your newly installed tiles. Diamond tile drills have many advantages over normal stone (concrete) drills. To start with, this diamond drill is provided with a wax layer, which offers protection against overheating. Furthermore, the diamond drills are much better able to get a grip on tiles and other rocks. With the diamond drill, you drill neatly finished holes on tiles. These diamond drills are equipped with a hexagonal drive, which means that you use the dry drills in combination with your electric drill or screw machine. The diamond drills drill holes with a diameter of 12 millimeters.

How do the 12 mm Tile Drill Bits Work?

Our diamond drills are provided with a wax layer, which keeps the drill head at the right temperature. The wax layer prevents overheating, which will extend the life of the drill. Normal concrete drills can warp or break if they get too hot with prolonged use. The alternative is to drill or cool these wax drills with a liquid such as water. However, the disadvantage of drilling with liquids is that the tiles or floors will get wet. When the tiles are dry, you can immediately seal the tiles after drilling. The drill head is fitted with vacuum brazed diamond, which makes this drill so strong.

Using a good drill on your job is half the battle. The right tools ensure a better result. This also applies to the choice of drill. The diamond drill is ideally suited for tiles and other rocks. Sanitary tiles are often finished with a smooth coating on the outside, which makes it difficult for the drill to grip the surface. Diamond drills suffer less from this. To get the best end result, grind a small impression into the tile. When you have done this, place the chuck perpendicular to the tile and you will easily drill a hole so that the chuck shoots out.
