Hinge 89 x 89 mm with Round Corner Galvanised - Per Piece

Hang your doors or windows easily with Wovar's Galvanised Hinge 89 x 89 mm. The zinc coating on this hinge provides better berscherming against corrosion. In addition, this hinge has a loose pin. The size of this hinge is 89 x 89 mm in the open position and has a thickness of 2.4 mm. 

One hinge has a load-bearing capacity of about 15 kg. For a standard Interior door you will in most cases have enough with three hinges. However, we recommend always using four Hinges per door. This ensures a load-bearing capacity of at least 60 kg.

Fixing 89 x 89 mm Hinges

These Hinges have six mounting holes with a diameter of 4.5 mm. With our chipboard screws Galvanised 4.5 x 50 mm, you will install these hinges securely.

In addition, for the Hinge to work properly, you will need to make a recess. You do this by drawing an outline of the Hinge at the place where you will mount it. Are you installing the Hinges on a Hardwood door? Then we recommend slightly pre-drilling the screw holes, up to 10 mm deep. To do this, use a 2.5 mm hardwood drill bits.

The schematic drawing in the third photo shows the best way to secure the hinges. The door in this example is a standard door of 2325 x 930 mm.
