Invisible beam support 50 x 60 mm for concealed beam connection - Per Set

Are you looking for an invisible beam connection? With the invisible beam supports 50 x 60 mm, you can easily connect beams of 6.3 cm thick and 80 to 175 mm high. Especially 63 x 175 mm larch beams are often used for this. For the use of this invisible beam carrier it is important that the beams that you want to fix with a concealed connection are at least 60 mm wide and 80 mm high.

Of course, this invisible beam carrier is not really invisible. It does however provide a concealed beam connection as can be seen in picture 2. This beam carrier consists of 2 so-called discs. One male and one female. Corresponding screws are also included. By galvanizing the discs into the wood by about 6 mm, you can achieve a beautiful invisible wood connection. Beams commonly used with these invisible beam supports are 63 x175 mm larch and 7.5 x 17.5 / 7.5 x 22.5 / 7.5 x 20 / 7.5 x 27.5 x 7.5 x 25 spruce wood.

The bar supports for blind connection are supplied with corresponding screws. You do not have to purchase this separately. The beam carrier itself consists of 2 separate parts. You slide these 2 so-called discs into each other after mounting on your beams. Because blinder beam fasteners are easy to assemble, it is also widely used for timber frame construction.

Securing invisible beam supports

This blind bar connection set consists of 2 components (1 male and 1 female), 2 screws 4.2 x 26 mm, to clamp these components together, and 18 screws 4.0 x 60 mm. The screws have a torx 15 drive. On the main bar, place the female connector. You determine the place where you want to place the crossbar and screw the connecting piece against the top of the beam (see photo 3).

Then screw the male component onto the head of the crossbar. You must also screw this to the top of the beam. You can now fasten the beam connectors together with the 4.2 x 26 mm screw.
