Fitting the joist hangers

Then it is necessary to pre-drill. Marking is easy by holding the joist hanger in the right place and marking the mounting holes with a pencil. Remove the joist hanger and you can start drilling. Because the joist hangers are made of galvanised steel, it is important that they are not damaged. In this way you prevent the joist hangers from oxidizing.

This joist hanger has 23 mounting holes to fix, the hole pattern of which is: 18 holes of 5 mm, 1 hole of 7 mm and 4 holes of 11 mm.

How strong is this joist hanger?
