Magnetic mortice locks are supplied standard including the strike box. Unlike traditional mortice locks, magnetic mortice locks find their closure by blocking the latch bolt, this eliminates the need for a deadbolt which creates a sleek look. The centre-to-centre distance of the handle hole in relation to the hole for the WC pin is 63 mm. This requires door hardware of the same WC63 size.

Subject to this magnetic mortice lock with Stainless steel front plate, we also offer magnetic mortice locks with a Black front plate. The dimensions of both the Stainless steel and Black front plate are 174 x 20 x 3 mm and the backset is 50 mm. For quick mounting, the use of a special router jig is recommended, with which a recess for your magnetic mortice lock is quickly made!
