What can I use the Wovar metal drill bit for?

The Wovar metal drill can be used for steel, cast steel alloyed and unalloyed (up to 1100 N / mm2 strength), gray, temper iron, ductile and die cast iron, sintered iron, nickel silver, graphite, short-machined aluminium alloys, brass and bronze.

Which drill size should I choose?

When working with our Wovar decking screws, use a 3.5mm thick drill. Do you work with screws of 4mm thick? Then take a 3mm thick metal drill bit. Do you install constructions with carriage bolts? Then take the thickness of the carriage bolt plus 1mm. For example, if you are working with M8 carriage bolts, use a 9mm thick metal drill bit.
