This mortice lock from Wovar for interior doors is our best-selling mortice lock. This is because the dimensions are the same as those from the Nemef 1200 series. The Grey Round faceplate provides a sleek finish to your door.

The depth of this lock case, including faceplate, is 80 mm. The backset is 50 mm. This is the distance from the forend to the centre of the crank hole. The faceplate is 20 mm wide and 174 mm long.

This mortice lock with strike plates is supplied excluding matching screws. We therefore recommend using our chipboard screws Galvanised 3 x 20 mm for this purpose. This model mortice lock is also supplied without strike plates. These can also be ordered separately.

If you still need to drill the holes for the door handles, you will also need a butterfly drill 20 mm. Our advice is to drill a slightly larger hole than necessary. This will give you some extra slack when you start fitting the door handle. And don't worry, because after fitting the handle backplate or rosette, you won't see any of this!

This way, you will have some extra slack when fitting the door handle.

The latch bolt is easily reversible. This makes the mortice latches suitable for left and right-handed doors. The latch bolt protrudes approximately 12 mm. You will also get a fixed contact and a useful order overview.
