Patio Post Support Galvanised - Per Piece

This drainage pipe bracket can easily be placed around the pipe on the wall, so that you can still firmly attach the post to the front of the support. Dimensions of post bracket

The bracket is 110 mm wide and has two mounting plates at the back. These protrude 45 mm on both sides and both have a mounting hole. The bracket is 130 mm deep, which is the distance between the wall and the post to be placed.

Placing a drainage pipe bracket

This screen mount has a total of 7 different mounting holes of 6.5 mm thick. Is the bracket on a stone or concrete wall? Then simply attach it with our 6 mm hammer plugs. The two mounting holes on the protruding edges can be used for this. Drill a 6 mm hole in the wall with a 6 mm hammer drill. Then place the impact plug through the patio screen support into the wall and hammer it with a rubber hammer.

Would you rather not use hammer plugs for mounting in a stone wall? Then use 6 mm thick coach screws in combination with 8 mm nylon plugs.

Installation on wood

If you place the pipe bracket on wood, it is best to use our chipboard screws 5 or 6 mm thick. Are you doing this on hardwood? Don't forget to pre-drill. With a 5 mm thick screw, this is best done with a 3.5 mm thick hardwood drill, with a 6 mm thick screw a 4.5 mm thick hardwood drill. View our hardwood drills for this.

Make sure that the post has sufficient strength, so preferably always place 2 brackets. Are you going to install an extremely long post? Then place a bracket every meter, so that you are assured of sufficient strength.
