Securing Black mortice hinge for masonry window frame 

A mortice hinge for a steel masonry frame is easy to secure. The mounting frame placed on the steel masonry frame will already have a pre-drilled slot for your mortice hinge. You therefore only need to drill holes in your Rebated door. Read the installation instruction below for a step-by-step explanation.

• Slide the bottom half of the hinges into your frame and screw them in place.
• Then determine the height of the hinge holes in your door and mark them.
• Now use a 5 mm hardwood drill bit to pre-drill the holes, up to 30 mm deep.
• Finally, screw the hinges into the door and hang it.
