This often creates 1 wicket door which is usually used and 1 fixed door. That fixed door must be well firmly locked in the frame as it must also provide strength to the wicket door. For such fixed doors, flush bolts are a perfect, subtle way of locking.

You can pre-drill the screw holes in the door with our 2 mm hardwood drill bits to prevent the somewhat thin screws from getting too hot and breaking. You then install the supplied strike plates in the lower and upper lintel of the frame. Before doing so, drill an 8-mm hole exactly where the bolt will fall into the frame. Finally, cover this hole with the strike plates, which can be deepened with a chisel for a tight finish.
