To place a pole anchor with, dig a hole about 40 x 40 cm wide and about 80 cm deep. Drive the pole anchor into the ground. In order not to damage the post tip, we recommend using scrap wood or similar so that you do not hit the galvanised steel directly. Drive the pole anchor so deep that the post-holding part is just slightly above the ground. Let the pole float 3 to 4 mm in the pole-holding part. Use all 4 mounting holes to screw in the post. Pre-drill with a 6.0 mm thick hardwood drill so that you turn the lag screws straight into the wood. Combine the lag screws with a washer. This prevents damage to the pole anchor during the tightening of the lag screw.
