Functioning of a 90 mm Post Protector Sleeve

The Postsaver consists of two layers: an outer layer of heavy polyethylene and an inner layer of fusible bitumen, which adheres firmly to the post. You apply them with a gas burner so that the inner layer melts and thus adheres around the post. The post protector now fits tightly around the post and acts as a protective layer. Because the Postsaver is applied at the point of air and ground, the post will not rot.

Post Protection against Wood Rot 

First of all, mark the place on the pole where you want to install the Postsaver. Make sure the pole is completely dry. The Postsaver looks a bit like a bag and can easily be slid around the post. Use a gas or paint burner to shrink the post protector. This process should not take longer than about 30 seconds. Make sure that the ends also adhere well to the post. After burning, the post must first cool down before being placed in the ground.
