A pressure distribution plate is a plate that distributes pressure over the surface area of the plate. With a pressure distribution plate, the pressure is evenly distributed over the surface area of the plate, so the insulation board will not be damaged and will hold better.

This pressure distribution plate is made of Galvanised Steel, has a diameter of 90 mm and comes in boxes of 100 pieces (enough for 20 m² of insulation boards). For pressure distribution plates, use insulation screws that are at least 15 mm longer than the diameter of the plate. We therefore recommend the use of insulation screws or plasterboard screws with a length of 105 mm or longer in combination with these pressure distribution plates.

The screw should be at least 15 mm longer than the diameter of the pressure distribution plates, so for this type you should use screws with a minimum length of 105 mm. The number of pressure distribution plates depends on the size of the insulation boards. We recommend using 5 pressure distribution plates for a plate measuring 120 cm x 60 mm. You can use the rule of thumb that you want to use about 5 pressure distribution plates per m² of insulation boards to secure them correctly.
