Installing the purlin anchor is easy using our powerful fasteners made of galvanised steel, such as chipboard screws. The screw holes of this purlin anchor have a diameter of 5 mm. Since you are installing this on Wood, you will need our chipboard screws 4.5 x 50 mm to prevent wood splitting. This Purlin anchor has 44 5 mm screw holes, with each side having 22 screw holes. We recommend using 44 screws per Purlin anchor.

Please note: if you have hardwood purlins or ring beams, pre-drill with a 3.5mm hardwood drill bits.
