PVC Downpipe Anthracite 172 cm Ø 60 mm - Per Piece

Every gutter should be fitted with a Downpipe to carry the water from the gutter to your drain. You install these as follows:

  • You place an outlet at the bottom of the gutter
  • You make holes/a hole in the gutter (where the outlet sits) using a drill or a tct hole saw (we recommend 50 mm because of the 60 mm pipe diameter)
  • You connect the spout to a number of bends if necessary
  • [optional] you can use a shortened gutter between the two bends to allow the water to drain properly
  • You fix the Gutter brackets in the Wall 20 cm below the outlet and 25 cm above the end of the gutter
  • .
  • You place the drain in the pipe/drain and then clamp the Gutter brackets around the gutter

If necessary, you can secure several downpipes together with a pipe connector, which should be Glued to your downpipe to ensure proper adhesion. This is because a PVC gutter is more economical than a galvanised or steel gutter. Apart from the price and option possibilities, this type of gutter also has some other advantages compared to zinc or steel gutters:

.
  • Faster and easier to install
  • Strength, making it resistant to scratches and dents that can occur during transport
  • .
  • More resistant to acids than Zinc or Steel
  • Available in more colours, sizes and shapes
