Pouring Concrete

Pouring concrete is an easy way to get a lot of structural support. Create a solid foundation for your posts, roof, decking, or other construction in no time. Here you start by digging a hole, usually 2 to 3 times the circumference of the post. Then cover the bottom with a small layer of filling sand. Then place the base or post in the hole. Then you fill it with the powder-shaped quick-drying concrete. Add water to this until it forms a good mix. Then you wait about 15 minutes, after which the concrete has hardened. Be frugal when adding water; you can always add more but not remove water. It is estimated that approximately 3.5 liters of water are more than sufficient for one 25 kg bag. 

How Much Quick Concrete per Base or Post?

For an average post with dimensions between 6 x 6 and 16 x 16, a pack of 25 kilos of fast concrete is sufficient. If you work with heavy structures or thicker poles, then it is wise to use two packs of quick-drying concrete. We recommend that you always use a whole bag for posts, especially with load-bearing structures. This may seem like a lot, but to form a strong anchor point, you need a lot of mass.
