With this post holder you can easily install round posts on a stone, concrete or Hardwood surface. If you are installing the post on hardwood, pre-drill with a hardwood drill bit first. When installing on concrete or Stone, you will need a masonry drill bit and some nylon plugs. Do you want an extra solid fixing? Then use the anchor bolts. Please note, do not use these bolts when installing the post holder on tiles. The tension of the anchor bolts may cause cracks in the tiles. First determine the location of the post holder and mark it with screw holes. Then pre-drill the holes with a hardwood drill bit, for Concrete you do this of course with a masonry drill bit. It is important that the holes in Concrete have a depth equal to the length of the wood thread drills you will be using. Finally, fasten the coach screws and you can place the post.
