Fixing shelf to wall

Fixing these shelf brackets is possible on both a Concrete wall and a Wooden wall. Make sure you use the right size screws to secure the shelf to the wall correctly. Each shelf bracket has four 6 mm mounting holes.

Start by determining the position of the shelf brackets. Mark the mounting holes with a Carpenter's pencil and then drill a hole 6 mm wide and 35 mm deep. Use a 6 mm masonry drill bit for this. Place the nylon plugs in the hole, using our Nylon plugs 6 x 30 mm. Useful tip: use our spirit levels to check whether the board hangs straight. You will find this spirit level under our measuring tools.

Hold the shelf brackets against the mounting holes and tighten them firmly with a screwdriver or drill. Black screws 4 x 50 mm with Torx 20 are recommended for a nice finish.
