Fixing the shelf to the wall

Mounting these shelf brackets is possible on both a Concrete wall and a Wooden wall. Make sure you use the right size screws to secure the shelf to the wall correctly. Each shelf bracket has four 6 mm mounting holes.

Start by determining the position of the shelf brackets. Mark the mounting holes with a Carpenter's pencil and then drill a hole 6 mm wide and 35 mm deep. Use a 6 mm masonry drill bit for this. Insert the nylon plugs firmly into the hole, using our Nylon plugs 6 x 30 mm. Useful tip: use our spirit levels to check whether the board hangs straight. You will find this spirit level in our range of measuring tools.

Hold the shelf carrier against the mounting holes and tighten it firmly with a screwdriver or drill. For a nice finish, black screws 5 x 50 mm with Torx 20 are recommended.
