Installing the Door Stop with Side Buffer on a Wooden Floor

When mounting the door stop with side buffer on a wooden floor, use the supplied screws without the plugs. Is your floor made of wood? Then, we recommend pre-drilling the screw holes. To do this, use our 3 mm hardwood drill bit. This not only ensures that you can easily drive the screws into the floor but also prevents the wood from splitting. 

Step 1: Determine the position of the door stop
Step 2: Mark the mounting hole with a pencil
Step 3: Predrill the hole lightly, about 20 mm deep.
Step 4: Screw the door stopper into place.

When attaching the door buffer with rubber bumper to a concrete or stone floor, use the supplied screws including the nylon plugs. You also need a concrete drill. The nylon plugs are 10 mm wide, so in this case, a concrete drill uses 10 x 120 mm. 

Step 1: Determine the position of the door stopper
Step 2: Mark the mounting hole with a pencil
Step 3: Predrill the hole, 50 mm deep.
Step 4: Press the plug into the pre-drilled hole.
