Soft-Close 600 mm ball bearing drawer runners - Per Set

Make your own drawer easily for your desk or cabinet, for example, with Wovar's drawer runners! These drawer runners feature a so-called ball cage, which is why these drawer runners are also called ball bearing drawer runners. These ensure increased precision and speed when sliding drawers in and out. In addition they also have a soft-close function. As a result, your drawers always fall shut gently.

This set of drawer runners 600 mm long and 45.5 mm high. This makes them suitable for drawers 600 mm deep. Furthermore, the drawer runners have a maximum pull-out length of 604 mm and a carrying capacity of about 40 kg.

Long drawer runners with soft-close 600 mm

This set consists of two drawer runners, two drawer runners and is supplied without mounting material. For fastening we therefore recommend using our chipboard screws galvanised 3 x 16 mm and ordering these at the same time.

For this you only need a torx screwdriver TX10 or TX10 bit in combination with a drill.

The sharp cutting point of the chipboard screws will prevent the wood from splitting. As a result, you do not need to pre-drill screw holes. However, this does not apply to Hardwood. If your drawer or cabinet is made of Hardwood, we recommend pre-drilling the holes. This prevents possible splitting of the wood. Use our 2 mm hardwood drill bits for this.

Installing the soft-close drawer rails

Step 1: Pull out the slides completely.
Step 2: On the back of the inner rail you will now see a Black lever. Push this upwards to remove the rail from the guides.
Step 3: Now install the drawer runners at the desired height on the inside of the cupboard.
Step 4: Install the loose rail to your drawer, at the height of the drawer runners on your cupboard.
Step 5: Now slide the drawer with the drawer rails back into the drawer runners.

For smooth movement of your drawers, it is also important that the Surface area to which you attach the drawer runners is straight. We therefore recommend using a spirit level during assembly. Don't have a spirit level yet? Then you can find it in our measuring tools category.

In addition, it is important that the space between the drawer and the frame is at least 0.2 mm to 0.5 mm wider than the thickness of the roller guide.
