The cavity in the door for the mortice lock should be at least 75 mm deep and 170 mm high. The front plate measures 24 by 235 mm. The cylinder lock is a 40 - 40 mm type, so the maximum thickness of the door is about 60 mm. The direction of rotation of the door does not matter.

Installing a mortice lock

To make installing the handles and lock as easy as possible, the set includes a detailed instruction manual and drilling template. The template allows you to mark the position of the handles and the lock, so everything is in exactly the right place. The holes for the handles and cylinder lock should be drilled with 12 and 18 mm spade drill bits. These drill bits are not included in the set.
