T-Hinge Light Blue Galvanised 200 mm

This T-hinge light version of blue galvanised steel has handy mounting holes. The T-hinge has a length of 200 mm, a width of 36 mm and a thickness of 2 mm. You can easily mount this T-hinge with the galvanised chipboard screws from Wovar with a thickness of 4.0 mm. These fit perfectly into the mounting holes of the blue galvanised T-hinges.

Mount extra strong T-hinges

To attach the T-hinge extra firmly, you can choose to use our galvanised M8 carriage bolts in the square mounting holes. The square part under the semicircular head of our galvanised M8 carriage bolts fits exactly into the square mounting hole of this T-hinge. By tapping the head of the carriage bolt with a rubber hammer, the square part clamps into the wood of the door. To mount M8 carriage bolts you need to drill a hole of 9mm. The M8 carriage bolts can be smoothly passed through here. Predrilling is easy with our hardwood drill bits 9 mm.

Depending on the thickness of the door, carefully determine the length of the screws and bolts. The screws should be screwed 3 quarters into the wood. So with a door that is 4 cm thick, you have a solid fastening if the screw is screwed into the door for 3 cm. Carriage bolts must protrude approximately 10-15mm from the door to tighten the washer and nut. So for a door that is 5 cm thick, you should opt for carriage bolts that are 6 or 6.5 cm long.
