Installing ventilation profiles

Ventilation profiles can be easily installed with nails or screws with a flat head. To install them correctly, follow the steps below:

• Shape a joint of at least 5 mm for the ventilation profile, between the start profile and the lower vertical joist
  
  
• If necessary, cut the insulation material at the top corner of the start profile to make room for the ventilation profile
  
  
• Determine the length you need and simply cut the ventilation roll to length with a hand saw.
  
  
• Pre-drill the ventilation profiles with a 3.0 mm metal drill bits and secure them with screws or nails. For the screws, we recommend a 4x35 cladding screw because of its flat head. Please note that the battens should be at least 38 mm thick.
