Using our weed membrane tape

Using our weed membrane tape is very easy. You start by laying the first strip of weed membrane. When this has been placed, you can attach a strip of weed membrane tape. Keep a distance of at least 5 cm along the edges to avoid contact with sand or existing weeds. After you have placed one strip of weed membrane tape, you can place the next section and partially overlap it, when both strips are well positioned, remove the protective layer of the weed membrane tape and secure both membranes together. Tip: Strongly press down on the overlapping pieces of weed membranes for optimal fastening. If you make a mistake, you can still reposition the membrane; after a few minutes the tape will adhere better and stronger, making repositioning more difficult.

Repairing weed membranes

The Wovar weed membrane tape is ideally suited for repairing holes in your weed membranes. You can also use it as an excellent problem-solver when you have made a mistake in your calculation and are still just a bit short. One roll of weed membrane tape roll contains 25 metres. You can calculate exactly how many metres you need by adding up the meters of overlap. If you are going to connect 10 pieces of 1 metre wide, you will need nine metres of tape instead of ten, because you do not need to secure the first piece.
