Wire rope clamps are widely used for making loops on wire ropes. When you are going to make a loop with wire clamps, there are some points to consider:

• The U-bracket of the clamp should be placed on the non-pulling part of the wire rope, i.e. at the end.
• The bridge part of the wire clamp should, on the contrary, always be placed on the pulling part of the wire rope.
• Make sure there is always enough wire rope left on the dead end, so that you can place the minimum required number of wire rope clamps.
