Steel table base

The table legs are 71 cm high, 71 cm in length and 10 cm in width. The steel tubes are 10 by 10 cm. The table legs have 8 screw holes, allowing you to securely attach it to a table top. With a diameter of 6 mm, the screw holes are suitable for screws with a diameter of 4 and 5 millimetres. The thickness of the plates in which the screw holes are are 5 mm. 

X Table leg

When securing a table top to the table leg, remember to use screws that are no longer the than the thickness of the table top. This prevents the screws from sticking out at the top. A rule of thumb is that the screws should penetrate at least 2/3 and at most 3/4 of the total thickness of the material. This ensures sufficient grip and strength.

Example: The sheets in which the screw holes are are 5 mm thick. If your tabletop is 3.4 cm thick, use screws 3 cm long.
